During the 18th century, etc. Ruled by a powerful empire, The Imperial Trading Post has been the hub of all trading activity for centuries. Ships from all corners of the world have travelled to this island to trade their wares. The Pirates, always aware of the treasure on the island, have been watching the trading activity very closely. Because the post is so well protected, the pirates cannot easily access the island. But this has not stopped the pirates, for they have devised a plan to capture outgoing ships at sea and confiscate their treasure. Will the pirates be successful, or will someone discover their secret plan? use your imagination to continue the adventures of the LEGO SYSTEM pirates of the sea

The set includes two Imperial Guard minifigures, one Imperial Officer, Admiral Woodhouse, two pirates (including Gonzo Goldbar), two post workers, and one merchant.
It features a trading post with a winch crane, a static string crane, and a ship with two sails.
The set also includes several cannons and a rowboat.
It was the largest Pirates set released in the 1992 wave and includes 2 full sized 32 x32 baseplates.
In the United Kingdom it was called Port Royal.
